Bangladesh cricket team flies to UAE today

Bangladesh Cricket Team will leave Dhaka for United Arab Emirates (UAE) to play the upcoming ACC 2018 Asia Cup today (Sunday). By a flight of Emirates Airlines, Bangladesh led by Mashrafe Bin Mortaza will fly from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 7:30pm.

Only iconic all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will not go with the team. Shakib, who is now in the United States of America (USA) with his family, is expected to join the team directly in UAE from USA.

All-rounder Mahmudullah, who returned home from West Indies after completing his Caribbean Premier League (CPL) stint, will fly with the team this time around.

Bangladesh named a 15-member Tigers’ squad for the six-nation Asia Cup but they later included batsman Mominul Haque as a back-up player will also fly with the team.

Bangladesh squad: Mashrafe Bin Mortaza (c), Tamim Iqbal, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mohammad Mithun, Mominul Haque, Mustafizur Rahman, Rubel Hossain, Liton Kumar Das, Mehidy Hasan Miraj, Mosaddek Hossain Saikat, Abu Haider Rony, Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Nazmul Islam Apu and Ariful Haque.
