Batighar stages ‘Urnajal’

Theater troupe Batighar staged the 18th show of its play ‘Urnajal’ at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in the Segun Bagicha of the capital on Sunday evening.

Scripted and directed by Bakar Bakul, the story of the play shows that Khaled returned to his village after completing his education from abroad, ending the villagers long wait. He then built a Madrasa on a piece of land left behind by his father for a school. On the other hand, Khaled’s childhood friend Gayain Saiful, who grew up in the Saiji’s grove lost his concentration on the art to be educated in religious education.

On the other hand, miscreants cut the tongue of the Imam on the issue of  performing janaza of a singer Jalal, who donated his eyes.

Taking this opportunity in the name of religious preaching,  evil tactics and sinister practice follows.

The cast of the play included Mukto Neel, Saddam Rahman, Sadia Yousuf, Firoz Munir, Shafin Ahmed, Sonjoy Halder, Shisir Sarker, Tazim Ahmed Saon, Sabrina Sharmin, Moniruzzaman  and others.
