Nepal plane crash victim’s car gutted

GAZIPUR: The private car of FH Priok, one of the victims of the tragic plane crash at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, was gutted as it burst into flame on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway at Masterbari in the city on Saturday morning, reports UNB. Priok's cousin Mehedi Hasan Masum, who survived the plane crash, was driving the car towards Joydebpur from Joina Bazar in Sripur upazila in the morning , said Pradip Kumar Mazumder, sub-inspector of Naujor Highway Police. When he reached Rajendrapur, smokes started bellowing from the car around 7:30am. Masum got down from the car immediately as the car caught fire at one stage on the highway. On information, a firefighting team rushed in and doused the fire around 8 am.
