Tareen with Irfan and Tasnuva Tisha in Tagore’s ‘Laboratory’

Tareen, an audience-admired actress known for her strong acting skills, will be seen playing a lead role in a tele-drama titled ‘Laboratory’ based on Nobel laureate poet Rabindranath Tagore’s short story with the same title. Dramatised by Masum Reza, the tele-drama is directed by Hasan Rezaul.

Promising artistes Irfan Sazzad and Tasnuva Tisha will be seen sharing the screen with Tareen in the tele-drama.

DhakaLive has news that the shooting of the tele-drama ‘Laboratory’ has been completed within two days in Khatib Khamar Bari located in Gazipur. However, the shooting was delayed at the beginning due to sudden rain which caused complications for the director during the shooting as well.  

In the tele-drama, Tareen has portrayed the role of Sohani while Sazzad and Tisha have played the characters named Rebti Bhattacharyya and Neela respectively.

Tareen said about acting in the tele-drama, “I acted in many characters created by Rabindranath Tagore. But this is for the first time that I have enacted the role of his Sohani. Here, I will be seen playing the role of a Punjabi girl’s character.”

Irfan Sazzad said, “I have worked with actress Tareen under three or four directors. She is such a talented and high profile artiste that one can learn a lot of new things every moment while working with her. Even in the tele-drama ‘Laboratory’, I have learnt many new things.”

Tasnuva Tisha said, “Actress Tareen is of one my favourite artistes. I am fascinated to see her devotion to the character, attention to the work as well as her cordiality towards the colleagues during the shooting. She adores me a lot and working with such an actress is an achievement for me.”

The other cast of the tele-drama includes Manosh Bandyopadhya, Azad Abul Kalam and Ramij Raju, among others.

Director Hasan Rezaul informed that tele-drama ‘Laboratory’ will be aired on a satellite TV channel on the eve of the 77th death anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore.
