Shooting begins for ‘Dohon’

Raihan Rafi-directed romantic drama film ‘Poramon 2’, starring young artistes Siam Ahmed and Puja Cherry, has already created a buzz with its songs and teaser among the audience before its release. The viewers are also waiting to watch the film of this new pair. The interesting fact is that the shooting of another new film of this duo is currently underway before the release of their first film.

DhakaLive has news that the first instalment of the film’s shooting has begun on June 6 in Tongi and will continue till June 11. The story of the film ‘Dohon’ is written by Delwar Hossain Dil and Raihan Rafi has written its screenplay alongside direction. In the film ‘Dohon’, Siam will be playing the role of Tula while Puja Cherry will be seen playing as Asha.

Siam said about acting in ‘Poramon 2’ and ‘Dohon’, “After a lot of hard work, we are bringing ‘Poramon 2’ to the cinema halls in this Eid. We are trying to present a good film based on an original story to the audience.”  

“It is my humble request to the audience that they would go to cinema halls to watch the film during Eid. The audience would be able to realise that the entire unit was working really hard for this film. Now our hard work will be paid off, if the film would be liked by the viewers.”

“The audience will find me in a new avatar in ‘Dohon’. To watch a whole new me, they have to wait till its release”, he added.

Puja Cherry said, “I am amazed just with the response from the audience for the teaser and songs of the film. So, I believe firmly that the film will touch the hearts of the audience. I am waiting for the film’s release passionately.”

“Besides, I will be presented with a whole new look in ‘Dohon’ and I am trying my best to portray my character appropriately” she added further.
