Jute fair extended for two days

The three-day jute fare, scheduled to end on Thursday, has been extended to till today considering huge enthusiasm from the jute entrepreneurs as well as keen interest of common buyers in diversified jute products, reports BSS.

So far in the last three days, the fair witnessed the selling of Taka three crore jute products and Taka five crore spot orders on various diversified jute items as thousands of people from all walks of

life thronged the fair

venue at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in the capital.

Textile and Jute Ministry organised the fair titled "Diversified Jute Goods Fair 2018" from March 6 to 8 as part of its 10-day programme including rally, road show, art camp, poem festival, water rally, seminar and symposiums, started from February 27 to celebrate the National Jute Day on March 6.
