Oktoberfest, Goa

Foot-tapping music, free-flow of beer and a surfeit of lip-smacking German delicacies, best describe the Oktoberfest Goa. Counted amongst the biggest and brightest cultural fests in the beach state, Oktoberfest attracts a huge number of national and international travellers. The festival began in the year 2011 so that people could experience the real pleasure of renowned Oktoberfest that takes place in Germany each year. Travelling all the way to Munich to be a part of the grand celebration is a costly affair, so Goa decided to have its own beer and music event based on the same concept. This year too, the beer will overflow and exotic food will be served. It’s been five years now and Goa is once again all geared up to play the best host. This high-spirited event will have a wide range of beer including brands like Kronenbourg and Hoegaarden, among others. For the music lovers, it’s one of the best festivals where they can be a part of some grand concerts and watch groups like Alpha Code, True Blue, ROL, The Family, A 26 and Smooth perform live.
