Allah says in the Holy Qur’an: Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect. (Al Ahzaab:  56) Thus, there is a clear statement that Allah  and His Angels convey salam and blessings to Prophet (saw). So believers should also do the same.

The word David came from the Hebrew word “daw-veed “, meaning beloved. David was the direct physical ancestor of Jesus Christ (Matthew 1:1-17). David was born about 1040 B.C., the eighth and youngest son of Jesse of Bethlehem. But much is not known about his parents.  Jesse lived on  modest means, and but there is no records of his Mother. According to the Bible, David achieved one military or diplomatic triumph after another against all of Israel’s neighbours. This allowed him to found a small empire where Jews were relatively secure.

Buddha Purnima celebrated in Bangladesh and India

The Buddhist community celebrated Buddha Purnima by performing special worship & light candle paper at the Old part of Dhaka Bashabo Buddhist Temple. The day marked Gautam Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and death. It falls on the day of the full moon in May. The Buddha — Siddhartha Gautam — was born in the Shakya royal family in Lumbini in south Nepal. Using historical records referring to Alexander, the Great and Emperor Ashoka, the Buddha’s birth date is usually given as May 563 BC.
