No Magura-style election again in the country: PM

Dhaka, May 25: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, on Saturday, asserted that her government will arrange an election, where the people's verdict would be reflected. She also said no elections, like the ones held at Magura and on February 15, 1996, will be held in the country again. “He/she for whom the people cast their votes will form the next government.

DHAKA, MAY 25: Twenty garment factories were closed down in Ashulia Industrial Area on Saturday as workers clashed with police while demonstrating for realization of their demands. The clash left at least 50 garment workers injured.
