US vows help to Bangladesh after factory disaster

WASHINGTON: Secretary of State John Kerry said Friday that the US wanted to work with Bangladesh on workers' rights and safety in the wake of the deadly factory collapse, and offered help after a killer storm.

DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Saturday renewed her call to the opposition leader to join the upcoming budget session of parliament and discuss whatever she wants, but not to attend the Jatiya Sangsad only for retaining the membership.
