REUTERS: New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman on Friday sued three major US banks, accusing them of fraud for using an electronic mortgage database that resulted in deceptive and illegal practices.

BPC seeking $ 200m loan from foreign banks

Dhaka, Feb 3: Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) is looking for Bangladesh Bank’s guarantee against its proposed bid to receive a US$ 200 million syndicated loan from three international banks to import petroleum.
The banks, operating globally, are Standard Chartered Bank, Citi Bank NA, and the HSBC.

DHAKA, FEB 3: Bangladesh has extended the final bid deadline for the four international companies short listed to build the country’s first Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal to April 15, Petrobangla chairman Hussain Monsur said on Friday.
