Expatriates advised not to travel home
In an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the country, the government has advised expatriates not to return to their homeland for the time being. No new cases of the virus were identified within the country yesterday. Health and Family Planning Minister Zahid Maleque briefed the press on the current situation, a day after the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic.
