‘Coronavirus may spread in country anytime’
Coronavirus, officially called COVID-19, may spread in Bangladesh any time as the highly contagious virus continues to spread in new nations and territories everyday, the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) said yesterday. “China’s deadly coronavirus has spread to at least 97 countries in the world. The virus may spread any time in Bangladesh,” said IEDCR director Prof. Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora during her regular press briefing on coronavirus at the institute in the capital yesterday.
