Symbol allocation today as EC confirms candidature of 758
A total of 758 candidates would contest the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) elections scheduled on January 30. After the withdrawal of nomination papers yesterday, the Returning Officers of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) elections would now allot electoral symbols among the candidates today from 9:30 am to 5pm. Meanwhile, a total of 123 candidates vying for ward councilor posts withdrew their candidature by surrendering nomination papers to the Returning Officers.
