Omar Faroque removed as Juba League chairman
Juba League Chairman Omar Faroque Chowdhury was relieved of his responsibilities at the ruling party Awami League’s affiliate youth organisation last night. The decision was made at a meeting with Awami League President Sheikh Hasina in the chair. Emerging from the meeting, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader briefed the journalists about the meeting proceedings and confirmed the removal of Omar Faroque. “Party chief Sheikh Hasina has instructed to remove all those involved with wrongdoings from the organisation,” he said.
