The Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) panel was leading in the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) and hall union elections according to the latest results until early hours of today. Elections to the central and hall unions of the country’s top institution of higher education were held yesterday after 28 years. Alleging massive irregularities, all other panels, including that of the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), boycotted the polls and demanded fresh polls.
