New faces dominate cabinet
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday formed a 47-member new cabinet under her leadership with a bold move towards charting a dynamic cabinet that witnesses induction of 32 new faces. Among the 32 new faces, 13 are ministers-designate, while 16 state ministers and three others are deputy ministers designate. Twenty seven of them are going to get cabinet berths for the first time. Cabinet Secretary M Shafiul Alam, at a press conference at his secretariat office, announced the new cabinet that includes 25 ministers, including Sheikh Hasina, and 19 state ministers and three deputy ministers.
