Candidates yesterday (Monday) started formal campaign across the country after getting electoral symbols to contest the general elections scheduled for December 30. A total of 1,841 candidates will be contesting the 11th parliamentary elections from 300 constituencies. Returning officers allocated electoral symbols among the candidates yesterday.
