The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has detected a “syndicate of brokers” in the department of immigration and passports (DIP) led by its Additional Director General (human resource management and finance), ATM Abu Asad. Three assistant directors of the DIP identified as Tajbillah, Sirajum Munira, Ismail Hossain and deputy assistant director Abdur Razzak are also involved in the racket, PMO sources said.
