‘Militant’ shot dead at RAB check-post
A suspected militant was killed and two members of the anti-crime elite force, the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), were injured in an attack on a RAB check-post in the Khilgaon area of the capital early yesterday, RAB said. The dead is yet to be identified. The incident took place just a day after a suicide bomber had blown himself up at a Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) barrack at Ashkona in the capital and four days into a special raid by joint forces on a militant hideout at Premtala in Sitakunda upazila of Chittagong that had left five suspected militants dead.
