War crimes convict Jamaat-e-Islami leader Mir Quasem Ali, on death row, yesterday informed the jail authorities that he will not seek presidential clemency, the last chance to avoid hanging for his heinous crimes during the Liberation War in 1971.The superintendent of Kashimpur Central Jail-2, Proshanta Kumar Banik, disclosed this to journalists after meeting the convicted war criminal yesterday afternoon.
