50 workers fall sick

GAZIPUR: More than 50 employees of a garment factory fell sick due to scorching heat at Konabari in the city, reports UNB.

Inspector Mobarak Hossain of Konabari Police Camp said the employees of 'Islam Garment' fell sick due to the hot weather in the morning.
Later, they were admitted to local hospitals. Meanwhile, the garment authorities have shut down the factory following the incident, the police official added.
