Two brothers electrocuted

Two brothers died and two others injured from electrocution at Ghoshpara in Kuliarchar upazila of the district yesterday morning. The deceased were identified as Rajan Sen, 28, and Sujan Sen, 20, sons of Ranjit Sen, of the area. Chowdhury Miza-nuzzaman, officer-in-charge of Kuliarchar Police Station, said Meera Rani Sen, aunt of Rajan and Sujan, came in contact with a live electric wire when she went to bring wet clothes from a hanging wire in the morning. As Rajan, Sujan and their brother Suman tried to save their aunt they were electrocuted. Local people rushed them to Kuliarchar upazila health complex where on-duty doctor declared Sujan and Rajan dead. Suman and Meera Rani were admitted to the health complex.
