Mukti returns to showbiz

After a long break, popular model-actress Rumana Islam Mukti has been quite eager to resume her work on screen. With that initiative, she recently made her return to the showbiz through a television commercial (TVC). DhakaLive has news that Mukti recently modelled in a TVC for Paris Furniture. Directed by Mukti Mahmud, the shooting of the TVC took place in several scenic locations in Chittagong. Popular actor Maruf Akib worked as the co-artiste alongside her.

Regarding the TVC, Mukti said, “Being a model in the TVC for Paris Furniture really was a joyous experience for me. I liked the entire work. I was very impressed with director Mukti Mahmud. His model selection, location selection, jingle and overall keeping a well-organised unit thoroughly impressed me. I hope I get to work with him in the future as well.”
“Since we both share the name Mukti, there was a lot of fun on the set. Whenever someone called out the name Mukti, both of us answered to it and then one of us had to return. This TVC is one such work that will certainly be enjoyable to the viewers. I hope they appreciate it”, the model-actress added.
Director Mukti Mahmud said, “The work has been done in such a fun and exciting way that as if we were all on a picnic. As models, Mukti and Maruf gave fantastic performances. I wish to work with both of them again in the future.”
