Mushfiq vows to work for autism

Bangladesh Test captain Mushfiqur Rahim said that he will put his every effort to bring back in in-form from his recent off-form. From the onset of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), Mushfiq couldn’t justify his name as dependable middle-order batsman for Bangladesh. He was not shone even in T20 Asia Cup at home turf and World T20 in India. “My effort will have to do well. Let’s see for which team I go tomorrow. As we have no games ahead of us so I will every try to bring myself back in this tournament,” said Mushfiqur Rahim at a programme in the capital city yesterday.
To mark the ninth World Autism Awareness Day-2016, Society for the Welfare of Autistic Children (SWAC) arranged a two-day long workshop on ‘Development of Communication, Social behaviour and Leisure Skills in Children with Autism to enhance participation, which was held at RDEC auditorium, LGED Bhaban in Agargaon in the capital.  
“I attended such type of programme in past. I will try to stay with SWAC and work for autism. It is, of course, a big challenging not only for us but also for their parents. If our assistance can give them at least a bit of help to them it’ll be great thing for us,” Mushfiq said at the closing ceremony of the workshop as a guest of honour.
“I have such kind of planning to establish a fund or organization for them in future,” he added. The Workshop was conducted by Autism Experts Indrani Basu, Chandrani Chakraborty,  Autism Society West Bengal, India and Society for the Welfare of Autistic Children. Engr. Anwar Hossain, Chairman, SWAC, Secretary Subarna Chakma, Md Mofijul Islam, Manage ( Admin & Finance) &  Project Manager and other trainee.
The workshop was sponsored by Southeast Bank Limited, Mercantile Bank Limited and Nestle Bangladesh. SWAC is a non-profit, non-government, non-political and voluntary organization working over 16 years. It is registered with the Social Welfare Department.
