Mushfiq trolled after trolling team India

India Today

Bangladesh Test captain Mushfiqur Rahim is understandably a bitter man. The Tigers, much fancied in their own backyard, failed to win a single match in the Super 10s stage of the ICC World Twenty20. Following losses to Pakistan, Australia, India and New Zealand, Bangladesh went back home with their tail between their legs, repots India Today. Rahim did not endear himself to any of the team's overzealous fans back home when he threw his wicket away in a tense game against India in Bangalore. On the brink of a historic victory against the top-ranked T20I side, Rahim's wicket triggered a comical sequence of events that allowed India to steal a thrilling one-run win. Back home after the humiliating exit, Rahim sought solace from India's defeat against West Indies in the semi-final at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Happiness is this!!!!! ha!ha!ha! India lost in the semi-final. But Rahim could not have been ready for what came next. The diminutive wicketkeeper-batsman was hit by a barrage of Tweets questioning his sense of judgement. An international cricketer of no mean reputation, Rahim should have chosen his words carefully even if was gunning for an India defeat, many felt on Twitter. Rahim, who has often voiced his desire to play Test cricket in India, deleted his Tweet immediately after the angry reactions but the damage had already been done.
