‘Country progressing fast towards development’

State Minister for Water Resources Mohammad Nazrul Islam said the country is progressing fast towards development under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, reports BSS.
The present government, he said, has set an example of success in different sectors like education, communication, agriculture, health and power supply.
The state minister said this while addressing a reception accorded to him by the Nagarik Committee of Nazarpur union in Narsingdi Sadar upazila at Dilarpur Government Primary School and Madrasha yesterday.
Nazrul Islam urged all to work together to build "Sonar Bangla" as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
President of the Nagarik Committee, Nazarpur Union, Manik Miah Sarkar presided over the function.
Mayor of Narsingdi Pourashava Kamruzzaman, general secretary of Narsingdi Sadar Upazila Awami League Aftabuddin Bhuiyan, secretary of Bangladesh volunteers League Prof Motahar Hossain Razvi addressed the function as special guests.
Among others, Organising Secretary of Narsingdi district Awami League, Waliur Rahman Azim, Councilor of Narsingdi Pourashava, Ripan Sarkar, Convener of Narsingdi district Chhatra League, Kazi Mamun, President of Nazarpur Awami League, Fakrul Islam Sarkar, Secretary, Shaiful Haque Swapan and Adv Ataullah Fakir Manik spoke on the
occasion.
