Five female artistes to star in ‘Super Girls’

Mumtaheena Chowdhury Toya, Nadia Afrin Mim, Safa Kabir, Keya Rahman and Annesha—with these five young female artistes of the showbiz, a new TV series titled ‘Super Girls’ is currently underway. All the artistes will be seen playing their roles with their own names. The story and screenplay of the TV series has been penned down by Indian TV actress and screenplay-wright Preya Wal, while Tanim Rahman Angshu is its director.
In ‘Super Girls’, Toya is playing the role of an actress, who has to struggle a lot to establish herself as an actress from being a girl from the middle-class family.
Keya, known as a singer, started her journey in the showbiz through ‘Close up Tomakei Khujchhe Bangladesh’. She will make her acting debut with this series and will play as a singer.
Model-actress Safa, who is mostly seen in modelling, will play the role of an anchor in the TV series.
Nadia, who won the title of Lux Superstar, will be seen appearing as a model.
Newbie Annesha will be seen as a basketball player in the TV series, who also has skills in basketball in the real life.
DhakaLive has news that with a grand preparation, the journey of ‘Super Girls’ has started. Produced by Alpha-I Media Productions Limited, the shooting of the TV series has kicked off in the different locations of Banani.
Popular band troupe Chirkutt is working with the opening song of the series. Besides, Hatil is sponsoring furniture for the production, while Lux and Grameenphone are the title sponsors. l
