‘Charlie’s Angels’ now in Dhaka

‘Charlie’s Angels’ now in Dhaka

‘Charlie’s Angels’, a 2019 American action comedy film, has hit Star Cineplex and Blockbuster Cinemas, two most prominent cinemas of Dhaka. Released on Friday, the film is being screened at Star Cineplex of Bashundhara City Shopping Mall and Shimanto Shambhar in Dhanmondi and SK Tower in Mohakhali, and also at Blockbuster Cinemas of Jamuna Future Park in Baridhara.

Written and directed by Elizabeth Banks from a story by Evan Spiliotopoulos and David Auburn, the film is the third installment in the Charlie’s Angels film series. The film shows when a young system engineer blows the whistle on a dangerous technology, Charlie’s Angels are called into action, putting their lives on the line to protect us all.

The film stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska as the new generation of Angels who are working for a private detective agency.

The film was released on November 15 in 2019 in the United States and as of November 17, ‘Charlie’s Angels’ has grossed $8.6 million in the United States and Canada.
