Bangladesh junior kabaddi team moved to the semifinal of the 1st Junior World Cup Kabaddi Championship (boys) beating Thailand by 62-37 points in the quarterfinal match held yesterday at national stadium of Kish Island in Iran. The Bangladesh kabaddi team will play in the first semifinal scheduled to be held today (Friday) morning but their opponents are yet to be decided till the filing of this report. Earlier, Bangladesh made an auspicious start as they beat their Afghanistan rivals by 84-11 points in the opening match and beat Chinese Taipei by 48-36 points in their second. The Junior World Cup Kabaddi will conclude on November 15 with the finals slated to take place at the same venue.
