Seminar on robotics and IoT held at DU

A day-long workshop and seminar titled artificial intelligence on robotics and IoT was held at IIT building of Dhaka University on Saturday, says a press release. The event was organised by IEEE Student Branch DU and IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Student Branch Chapter DU under the supervision of Japan-Bangladesh Robotics and Advanced Research Centre (JBRATRC). The introductory speech was given by Dr Sejuti Rahman, assistant professor of the Mechatronics department at Dhaka University, and she welcomed the whole participants at the same time Dr Mohammad Shoyaib professor of IIT department at the Dhaka University.  Moreover, the chairman and founder of JBRATRC engineer Farhan Ferdous participated in that event via video conference from Japan and he said about the rules and procedures of JBRATRC and he also delivered a technical speech about the ‘Waking Dynamic Robot gait generation’. Assistant professor of East West University and the advisor of JBRATRC Dr Mohammad Salah Uddin conducted the workshop session in the afternoon.  The technical director of JBRATRC, ASM Ahsanul Akib and deputy technical Shakik Mahamud were also present there as a trainer. At the end of the workshop, certificates were distributed among the students.

IU publishes results of ‘A’ unit intake test

 The results of ‘A’ unit admission tests for the first year honours courses under the academic session 2019-20 of Islamic University in Kushtia were published on Tuesday. IU vice-chancellor Prof M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari published the results at his office around 5 pm.  IU Acting Registrar SM Abdul Latif, Proctor Prof Paresh Chnadra Barman, Theology faculty Dean Prof Akabar Hossain, Unit Coordinator Prof Lokman Hossain and Al-Hadith and Islamic Studies department Chairman Prof Ashraful Alam were also present there. The details on the results will be available on the university website at www.iu.ac.bd.

Results of CoU entry test published

UNB, Comilla University

The authorities of the university on Tuesday published the results of the intake test for the first year honours courses under 2019-20 academic session.  The results were announced in a press conference by the members of admission test committee. Around 24 percent aspirants passed in the 'A' unit and 15.81 percent in the 'B' unit while only 11 percent in the 'C' unit. The further details of the results will be available in the notice board at university's administrative building and university’s website www.cou.ac.bd. The viva voce of the successful students will be held on November 24-25.
