Bangladesh won a thriller coming from two sets behind against Kyrgyzstan in their last round robin league match of the Bangamata Asian Senior Women’s Central Zone International Volleyball Championship yesterday.

Held at the Shaeed Suhrawardi Stadium, Mirpur, Bangladesh women tremendously made comeback from 2-0 sets to snatch the victory by 3-2 in a hard fought five-set match.

In the day’s first match Nepal defeated Maldives in straight 3-0 sets but both the teams have already moved in the final will face each other today.

Nepal made all win record when they won their all four  matches and Maldives won three and lost only one, when Bangladesh and Kyrgyzstan will vie for the third place in the day’s first match today at 1pm ahead of the final will take place at 3pm.

In the day’s second and the most attractive match Bangladesh lost first two sets by 25-09 and 25-15 points. But the home side made a strong comeback to win three sets in a row 25-21 and 25-17 points and the won the decider set by 15-11.
