BHOLA TRAWLER CAPSIZE
Nine fishermen laid to rest

The nine fishermen were laid to eternal rest today whose bodies were recovered after missing in a trawler capsize in the Meghna River on Sunday,
They were buried at their family graveyard in Char Fasson upazila of the district.
The bodies of the missing fishermen were recovered from the Machhkata River in Mehendiganj upazila here on Monday night.
The deceased were identified as Kamal Dalal, 35, son of late Nurul Haque, Hasan Mollah, 38, son of Quader Mollah, Nur Nabi Bepari, 30, son of Quader Bepari, Mofiz Matabbar, 36, son of Salimon Bepari, Nazrul Islam, 35, son of Yasin Patwary, Kabir Hossain, 40, son of Mosleuddin Majhi, Md. Billal, 32, son of Ismail Khan, Abbas Munshi, 45, son of late Mujibul Haque Munshi, and Rafique Biswas, 45, son of late Jamal Biswas of Abdullahpur in Charfasson upazila.
Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard and police recovered the bodies from the sunken trawler at Bahadurpur around 10:30pm, said Coast Guard south zone Lieutenant Mahbubul Alam Shakil.
He said the bodies were found inside the trawler after it was salvaged.

Spotted deer rescued in Bagerhat

A spotted deer, which was believed to escape from a park during cyclonic storm ‘Bulbul’, was rescued in Rampal upazila on Monday.
Police with the help of locals rescued the deer from the upazila headquarters in the morning and took it to Rampal Police Station, said Bagerhat Superintendent of Police Pankaj Chandra Roy.
He said locals spotted the deer while it was hovering around the police station and informed police.
Meanwhile, authorities of a park in Chandramahal area of Sadar upazila claimed that the deer escaped from their park, the SP said, adding that they will hand over it after examining necessary papers.
