President goes to Nepal today

UNB, Dhaka

President Abdul Hamid will leave here for Kathmandu today on a four-day visit to Nepal at the invitation of Nepalese President Bidhya Devi Bhandari. A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the president will take off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:30am. The Nepalese President and Bangladesh Ambassador to Nepal Mashfee Binte Shams will receive Abdul Hamid at Tribhuvan International Airport of Nepal. During the visit, meetings will be held on November 13 with Foreign Minister of Nepal Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Chairman of the National Assembly (Upper House) Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, former Prime Minister and co-chairman of the Nepal Communist Party (ruling party) Pushpa Kamal Dahal, President of the Nepali Congress Party and Leader of the Opposition Sher Bahadur Deuba and Prime Minister and Chairman of the Nepal Communist Party KP Sharma Oli.
