Tigers reach Indore to play first Test

SPORTS REPORTER, Dhaka

Bangladesh national team players reached Indore yesterday to play the first Test against India after suffering a 1-2 defeat in the T20I series while a number of players were due to return home via New Delhi.

Mosaddek, who was dropped from the third T20I due to injury,  joined seven other T20 team players Mohammad Naim Sheikh, Shafiul Islam, Soumya Sarkar, Arafat Sunny, Afif Hossain, Aminul Islam and Abu Hider Rony were due to return home last night.

Mosaddek Hossain Saikat returned home from Delhi due to emergency family reason. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Sunday night stated that the 23- year-old all-rounder sought leave from the Board citing family purposes.

However, the BCB said the all-rounder likely to stage a comeback before the Indore Test kicks off November 14.

Mosaddek had not that kind of start he would have liked to be in the three match T20Is against India which Bangladesh lost 2-1 in the final match. He sat out in the series decider before played the first twoT20Is but failed to make any impact on both occasions.
