Farhad Reza alone gets BCB NOC to play in UAE T10

SPORTS REPORTER, Dhaka

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) finally gave no-objection certificate (NOC) to all-rounder Forhad Reza only to play the T10 Cricket League, hosted by United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the third time.

A franchisee from Bangladesh is participating after the name of ‘Bangla Tigers’ in the league for the first time. A total of seven players including Forhad Reza, Anamul Haque Bijoy, Zunaid Siddique, Arafat Sunny, Yasir Ali Chowdhury Rabbi, Mahedi Hasan and Abu Haider Rony has been picked by its Bangladeshi owners.

If all above mentioned players were in the team then Bangla Tigers, a team formed by Chattogram based organisers,  have every opportunity to excel in the tournament.

Forhad Reza among the players is expected to play for the Bangla Tigers. The BCB is not giving their NOC to so many players together keeping National Cricket League (NCL), Emerging Teams Asia Cup and A team’s tour in mind.

Of them, the NCL is going on. Emerging Teams Asia Cup is scheduled to get underway on November 12.

The third edition of the league is slated to begin on November 14.

In addition, the organisers of the tournament gave a team to Bangladeshi people considering the Bangladeshi immigrant and diaspora community in the UAE.
