Newly-appointed Bangladesh head coach Russell Craig Domingo is expected to arrive here in Dhaka to assume his maiden stint in Bangladesh today.
The South African coach is scheduled to land at Hazrat Shahjajal International Airport in the capital at 9:00am.
The 44-year-old head coach will take the charge of Tigers in place of Steve Rhodes, who mutually separated with Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on July 7.
The experienced coach, who guided South Africa for six years, spanning 2012-2017, will start his maiden job against Afghanistan.
Bangladesh will play a one-off Test against visiting Afghanistan, starting from September 5 at Chattogram.
Domingo's compatriot Charl Langeveldt who has been appointed by the BCB as fast bowling coach will follow the suit. The fast-bowling coach is due to arrive at 1:00pm in the same day.
However, spin-bowling coach Daniel Vettori is also expected to join the team's ongoing team practice camp ahead of the upcoming home series.
