Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Governing Council will sit with its franchisees to discuss about the new four-year agreement.
They were scheduled to sit with them on Sunday. Later, the council deferred a day for their meeting which will be held at the BCB-management office of the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) at 2:00pm.
On the first day, the BPL governing council will sit with three erstwhile franchisees as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) director and council member Jalal Younus said. But he did not tell the names of the franchisees.
Earlier, it was slated to sit with Rangpur Riders and Khulna Titans on the opening day meet.
Therefore, the BPL Governing Council is due to sit with Dhaka Dynamites and Rajshahi Kings on the second day. And they will hold discussions with Comilla Victorians on the third day.
As of now, they will sit three franchisees on the day one, while they will sit to discuss with three others franchisees on the day two. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan Papon said that they will not sign the new agreement if any franchisee is defaulted for any reason.
