Saifuddin reappointed as BGIC CEO

Ahmed Saifuddin Chowdhury, managing director and CEO of Bangladesh General Insurance Company Ltd (BGIC), has been reappointed for another period (2019-22) for the 3rd consecutive term, the company said in press statement yesterday.

He joined BGIC head office at Dhaka in 1986 and posted to Chittagong office as over-all-in charge.

Later he prompted to the post of additional managing director (Operation) including the responsibilities of company secretary and appointed to the post of managing director and CEO of BGIC on August 1, 2013, the statement added.
