3-day musical event in capital from tomorrow

A three-day musical event titled ‘Gaaner Jharna Tolay’, organised by Bengal Foundation, is set to start from tomorrow at Bengal Shilpalay in Dhanmondi of the capital.

Students of Bengal Parampara Sangeetalay will perform classical music on the opening day of the three-day event. The second day of the event will feature the musical show ‘Praner Khela’ while on the third day, the launching ceremony of CDs will be held. The programme will begin every day at 7pm.

On the other hand, with an objective of unfolding the diversified classical music world to the mass audiences, Bengal Foundation has recently released as many as 37 videos on its official YouTube channel. From the videos made shedding lights on genres, ragas and different aspects of classical music, a few videos will be presented in front of the audience on the first day of ‘Gaaner Jharna Tolay’.
