Internet service is likely to be disrupted for 6-7 days for maintenance of the Bangladesh branch of SEA-ME-WE-4 submarine cable at Cox's Bazar Landing Station. Terminated circuits of Cox's Bazar Landing Station will remain closed for the next 6/7 days as the installation of 3rd repeater was rescheduled for Wednesday due to cyclonic storm 'Fani', said a press release of Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company Limited (BSCCL) yesterday. Internet users likely to experience low speed due to the ongoing maintenance work in Cox's Bazar, it said, adding that SEA-ME-WE-5 submarine cable and circuits of ITC operators will remain open during the period.
