While Rubel Hossain is dreaming to replicate his best spell in England World Cup, his team-mate Mustafizur Rahim is persisting with tournament by tournament strategy.

Both Rubel and Mustafiz are struggling to be complete fit for the next big international assignments in Ireland and England.

“We’ve four matches in Ireland prior to the World Cup. We should first think much about it. If we could do well there, good result in World Cup will be done for us,” said Mustafizur Rahman.

“I think, we’ve no games in a row. The matches will be held in between gaps. Nine matches will be played in a month. It’s not a big matter. Actually, injury comes without warning. It may be happened at any way. Big thing is to remain fit,” Rahman told media.  On the other hand, fast bowler Rubel Hossain tipped World Cup in England soil challenging, stating that he wants to step into the top five bowlers in the ICC Cricket World Cup-2019.

“I’ve been playing in international cricket for so long. Of course, it’ll be my dream to stay in the top five bowlers of the World Cup. I’ve that kind of dream. Inshaallah, let’s see what happens,” said Rubel Hossain.

“And we’ve nine games in the first phase of the World Cup. So, I’ve chance to do so because we’ve matches with all the top-notch teams. If we can win match against them or we could play our natural game, the better result will then be done,” Hossain told media after his individual practice session at the National Cricket Academy in Mirpur yesterday.

“There will, of course, be responsibility. If I can go there soundly, it’ll then be third World Cup for me. So, there will be much experience of me. The sweet memories I have try to recall it and play better cricket,” he added.

“We’ve played more games on England condition. So, we know it properly what we have to do especially bowlers. There are some wickets, some of which are helpful for the bowlers and some of which are batting friendly.”

“We’ve to make adjustment with it. We’ll get opportunity to take preparation. We know all it’s a long tour. Good memories will be remained in mind. I’ll try hand and soul to make a good spell. I’ll try to deliver my best of bowling.”
