ATM Shamsuzzaman, Salauddin Lavlu and Ziaul Faruq Apurba, three very popular actors of the country’s entertainment world, are currently sharing screen together in an ongoing drama serial titled ‘Jaygir Master’. Written and directed by SA Haque Olike, the trio’s drama serial is being aired on Banglavision.

The family-oriented drama also casts Dilara Zaman, Mousumi Hamid and Bhabna, among others, in the different roles.

About the theme of ‘Jaygir Master’, director SA Haque Olike said, “In the recent drama serials, the presence of family bonding is rarely seen. Even the subject of education or study has not also been addressed properly. In my drama serial, I have tried to highlight the importance of education through entertainment.”

In the drama serial, ATM Shamsuzzaman portrays the role of Azgar Molla while Lavlu plays the character of Mominul and Apurba appears as Ratul.

DhakaLive has news that the shooting of the drama serial is taking place in a resort of Mawna in Gazipur.

Regarding his involvement in the drama serial, ATM Shamsuzzaman said, “I have seen passion in Olike for doing something good. His skill in directing drama amazes me. He is a patient director.”

“Besides, Lavlu, without a doubt, is a professional actor. If an actor-director like Lavlu leaves his profession, our industry will be the ultimate loser. Again, Apurba is one of the best actors of his time who delivers flawless performance. On the whole, the opportunity of working with all these brilliant artistes is a pleasant matter for me”, the veteran actor added while speaking highly about his co-artistes.

About the drama serial, Lavlu said, “I have seen many directors make dramas without any plan. But Olike is completely different. He is well-organised, and takes care of the artistes during the work.”

“The story of the drama serial is really beautiful. I like to thank SA Haque Olike for casting me in the drama serial with a star-studded cast. It is a unique experience for me,” Apurba expressed his gratitude to director Olike for casting him in the drama.

‘Jaygir Master’ is being aired every Thursday to Saturday at 9:45pm on Banglavision.
