Youth hacked to death

UNB, Chapainawabganj

A young man was hacked to death allegedly by his friend in Rohanpur municipality area of Gomastapur upazila on Friday afternoon apparently for refusing his proposal to get involved in drug peddling.

The deceased was identified as Rajon Biswas, 22, son of Md Amin of the area.

Locals said drug addict Ashique, 20, son of Masud Ali of the area, got involved in Yaba trade recently and he tried to involve his friend Rajon in the drug peddling which he refused. The refusal led to an enmity between them.
