ACC chief for procedural reform to stop corruption

BSS, Dhaka

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal Mahmood yesterday stressed the need for procedural changes in education, health and moral sides to stop corruption.  “Let us make procedural changes in education, health and moral aspects aimed at stopping corruption for the sake of the young generation,” he said in a discussion marking the Victory Day at its Segunbagicha headquarters.

Showing respect to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and all the martyred, he also said, “It will be a serious disrespect to the martyred if we get ourselves involved in corruption.”  “It is a must to stop corruption to ensure continuation of the economic development,” he added.

Speaking on the occasion, Anti-Corruption Commission Commissioner Dr Mozammel Haque requested all take tougher stance against corruption to build a prosperous country.

Another Anti-Corruption Commission Commissioner AFM Aminul Islam urged all to utilise the spirit of the Liberation War in their own workplaces.
