Career insight seminar held at SUB

A career insight seminar was held at Southern University Bangladesh (SUB) jointly organised by SUB comport science department and Society of Chittagong IT Professional (SCITP) on Sunday to help the students building their career in IT sector.

After the seminar, a campus club was lunched formally at SUB, said a press release on Monday.

In the seminar, Abdullah Farid, chief of PHP Group IT and president of SCITP, Md Saiful islam, secretary general of SCITP and chief of IT Infrastructure of BSRM Group,  Sujat Anwar, chief of IT, Young One Limited , Abul Kashem, CEO Exponent IT Limited.

During the campus club inauguration programme, SUB science faculty dean Prof Md Sharifuzzaman was the chief guest while computer science department coordinator Md Jahangir Alam and students of the computer science department were present. The programme was presided over Prof Md Abul Mansur Chowdhury.

DIU team joins youth exchange programme

Students and faculty members of Daffodil International University (DIU) recently visited Sri Lanka for ten-day Youth Exchange Programme 2018 hosted by National Youth Services Council (NYSC) under the Ministry of Youth, Sri Lanka, says a press release.

This is the 2nd Bangladesh-Sri Lanka Youth Exchange Programme which was initiated last year under a bilateral agreement between DIU and NYSC with a view of empowering the youths of both countries.

The ten-member delegation also visited the residence of Prime Minister of Sri Lanka ‘Temple Trees’ and met Sagala Gajendra Ratnayaka, member of Parliament of Sri Lanka who is currently Cabinet Minister of Project Management, Youth Affairs and Southern Development.

During the meeting, DIU delegation shared their experiences, learning as well as discussed both country socio-cultural aspects.
