‘Mr Bangladesh’
to hit cinemas in November

After a long wait, the much-talked-about film ‘Mr Bangladesh’ is finally set to hit cinemas soon. The film has received an uncut censor certificate from the Bangladesh Film Censor Board on October 18. Though the release date of the film has yet to be fixed, DhakaLive has news that ‘Mr Bangladesh’ is going to be released in the middle of this November.

‘Jaago’ movie-famed director Khijir Hayat Khan, the producer of ‘Mr Bangladesh’ and also played the titular role in the film, informed DhakaLive about receiving censor certificate and release date of the film. He said, “Our film ‘Mr Bangladesh’ has received an uncut censor certificate. Now we are taking necessary preparations for its release. We want to release the film in the middle of next month (November).”

‘Mr Bangladesh’ will mark the directorial debut of Abu Akhter Ul Iman.

Based on the multiple terrorist incidents took place in the country in the recent years, ‘Mr Bangladesh’ has been produced under the banner of KHK Productions. The story and screenplay of the film have been written jointly by Khijir Hayat Khan and Hasnat Piash.

Alongside actress Shanarei Devi Shanu, YouTube celebrity Shamim Hasan Sarkar will make his big screen debut with the film. Tiger Robi, who caught the attention with his roles of villains in various films, will be seen playing a negative role in ‘Mr Bangladesh’.
