Despite having a bit injury concern in the UAE-bound Bangladesh team, Khaled Mahmud Sujon thinks that they will get all the players ‘complete fit’ before the start of the Asia Cup.

Sujon also said that the injury the players have will be healed within the time of period what they have in hands.

“To be honest, I don’t know anything. Today I joined the team after being told from the board. But I believe, we will get them all before the match,” said Khaled Mahmud Sujon,” Khaled Mahmud Sujon, who is also director of the BCB.

“Shakib, I think, will join the team in UAE. Tamim’s injury is not serious one that he will not play. We hope Tamim Iqbal will come in right time as we have some more times in our hands. Hopefully he could play for the team,” Sujon told reporters.

“The rest of the players are okay. Actually we have no concern at all,” he added.

Khaled Mahmud, who comes back in team manager stint again after missing last two series against Afghanistan and the West Indies, said that playing with a target is always good for a team and its players that simplify respective player’s role and then they could do it seriously for the team’s causes.

He also said that there will always be pressure and challenge in games whatever condition they go to play but they will attempt to play better cricket by overcoming such challenge and pressure to reach the destination.

“Whatever matches we play in one-day cricket will be pressure there. We went nearer to champions twice (2012 and 2016). It’s not that we did not play final in Asia Cup. We may dream that we want to be champion,” BCB director said.

“It’s definitely good when we will have a target. We will go there with a big target of becoming champions. There is nothing offence of it. There might be come pressure in matches. We have to play better cricket by overcoming such pressure in the matches,” Sujon also said.

“If we could surpass two group matches against Sri Lanka and Afghanistan and go through we could be faced India or Pakistan in the next stage. Actually each and every match for us will be challenging as it will be held on tough condition,” he added.

Citing Pakistan and India are good sides on that condition, Khaled Mahmud said that they will hope to play our better brand of cricket on UAE surface. “The team is good and we always play better cricket in this format. I think, overall practice has also been well done. Coach is also satisfied. If injury does not recur, everything goes on right way then we have a probable good opportunity, Inshallah,” he viewed.

“We have to play better brand of cricket. I believe that the confidence of the team remains good after returning home from the West Indies. As the condition in Asia Cup that is well known to us, there will be warm condition. Overall, I think, we will play better cricket in UAE,” he hopes.
