Blockbuster Cinemas screening ‘Kin’

‘Kin’, an American part family drama, part sci-fi adventure, action film directed by Jonathan and Josh Baker is being screened at Blockbuster Cinemas of Jamuna Future Park in the capital.

Written by Daniel Casey, the film ‘Kin’ is based on the 2014 short film ‘Bag Man’, an earlier work of the directors.

Myles Truitt plays Elijah aka Eli who had it pretty rough - he was adopted by his parents as a young child, but his mother has recently passed away, leaving his tough dad to care for him as best he can. As an adopted child with few friends, Eli is a bit of an outsider and street smart enough to venture off into some pretty shady parts of Detroit by himself. When his older brother Jimmy gets out of prison, the situation at home gets even more tensed. While scrapping in an abandoned building, Eli discovers a futuristic weapon, and takes it home with him. But when Jimmy is unable to pay back a debt to criminal Taylor Balik, Jimmy narrowly escapes and takes Eli on the run. Chased by police, Balik and deadly soldiers after the mysterious weapon, Jimmy and Eli have to rely on each other to survive.

Other then Myles Truitt, the film stars Jack Reynor, Zoë Kravitz, Carrie Coon, Dennis Quaid, and James Franco among others.

The film was released in the United States on August 31, 2018, by Lionsgate.

Show Time: 7:15pm, 11:30am, 4:50pm, 2:30pm
