Children’s cultural contest held

RANGPUR: Cultural personalities at a functionhave stressed on flourishing extra-curricular talents of the children and disseminating true national history among them to build an enlightened nation, reports BSS.

They came up with the view on Saturday afternoon at the concluding function of the district level ‘Moushumi Children Competitions-2018’ held at Shishu Academy auditorium in the city.

The district unit of Bangladesh Shishu Academy organised the competitions

with participation of about 150 children of the primary and secondary level schools from all eight upazilas of the district. Former General Secretary of the district Shilpokola Academy and Office Secretary of district Awami League Tauhidur Rahman Tutul attended the function as the chief guest.

Speaking put importance on enhancing extracurricular activities to flourish multi-dimensional latent talents of the school children to make them brilliant citizens.
